Richard dela Cruz, PhD, is a distinguished Senior Research Scientist, IV at Culmination Bio, where he and his team of researchers engage in cutting-edge molecular analysis techniques.
Dr. dela Cruz has published over 15 peer-reviewed papers, showcasing his expertise in identifying and purifying neuroactive conotoxin peptides, characterizing novel proteins and signaling pathways in yeast cells, cancer cells, and zebrafish, and developing two novel anticancer drugs that target the WNT pathway.
Richard's scientific achievements have garnered recognition worldwide, as evidenced by his presentations at international scientific conferences. Before joining Culmination Bio, he focused on clinical research and established a spatial proteomics mass cytometry program at Intermountain Precision Genomics, contributing significantly to this burgeoning field.
Richard earned a BS in Chemistry from the University of the Philippines and a PhD in Medicinal and Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the University of Utah.
